2017 property tax bills will be mailed by August 15 with a single due date of October 15.

If your payment is late, the following interest and penalty will be added to the balance you owe:

- 0.56% interest will be added each month that a balance remains.

- A 5% penalty will be added on the remaining balance after 120 days, then an additional 5% on the remaining balance after every 120 days, not to exceed 20%.

Important Note! We do not send tax bills to mortgage companies.  If your property taxes are in an escrow account, your property tax information will be made available to your mortgage company; however, it is ultimately the responsibility of the property owner to ensure taxes are paid.  If you have questions about whether your mortgage company will be paying your taxes, contact the company directly, especially if your mortgage company has recently changed.

Other important dates:

  • Homestead Exemption application deadline: April 1
  • Mobile Home taxes due date: April 1
