Due to statewide system issues and extremely long lines (including kiosks),
we advise people to visit tag offices another day.

Be advised tag offices may reach daily capacity prior to 5 pm.
Check wait times and required paperwork in advance.

Most everything you would normally do inside a tag office can be done through our drop box service. Please note the following when using a drop box:

  • Add your name and phone number to any documents, and take a photo of the documents you drop off
  • Drop boxes are checked frequently and the transactions processed and mailed as soon as possible.
  • Your check is your receipt.
  • Make checks payable to 'Gwinnett Tax Commissioner.'

Drop boxes are located at all five Gwinnett tag offices

Contact us at 770-822-8818, tag@gwinnettcounty.com or by chat for more information. Agents are available 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.
