Effective July 1: New Tag Office Operating Hours

For more convenient customer access, beginning July 1, the Norcross, North Gwinnett, Peachtree Corners and Snellville tag offices will be open Monday - Friday, and the Lawrenceville tag office will be open Tuesday - Saturday. All tag offices will be open 8am - 5pm. View the new schedule

Paperless billing available for property tax bills

In 2015, a law was passed that allows property tax bills to be sent electronically, replacing, when requested, the paper bill. If you own property and wish to sign up for paperless billing, find your property, click the 'Parcel Number' button then click the 'Go Paperless' button.

The Tax Commissioner is an elected Constitutional Officer responsible for the collection of property taxes, including the processing of homestead exemptions, preparation of the county tax digest, billing of taxes, and the accounting for and distribution of those taxes. 

The Tax Commissioner also acts as an agent of the state for the titling and registration of motor vehicles, and is responsible for the operation of the tag offices located in this county.
