What changed in 2020?


The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners adopted the following changes:
  • The Maintenance and Operations rate was lowered by 0.259 mills.
  • The Police rate was increased 1.3 mills.
  • The Recreation rate was increased 0.05 mills.
  • The new Economic Development tax is 0.3 mills.

The Tax Commissioner is authorized to bill, collect and disburse taxes on behalf of the taxing authorities. This Office does not set or have the authority to change property values or millage rates. If you have questions about values or rates, please contact the appropriate taxing authority.
