Jeremy M. Collins was appointed Chief Deputy Tax Commissioner in June 2023. Collins previously served as the Property Tax Director for the Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner’s Office. Having more than 20 years of management experience, he has moved progressively at the GCTC.
A graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, Collins began his career with GCTC in 2011. He has managed several branches, including the Peachtree Corners Tag Office and the North Gwinnett Tag Office.
Prior to working at GCTC, Collins worked in management positions in the private sector in metro Atlanta.
A member of 12 Stone Church, he lives in Lawrenceville with his wife, daughter, and an adorable yorkie poodle mix. Collins enjoys his alma mater’s athletics, NFL football and woodworking.
